I can and cannot see

west and east of me,

north and south of me,

and everywhere else

that is somewhere else

and here within what is

vulnerability to forces of life

surrounding us,

and here within what is

uncertainty about what 

happens next,

and here within what is

the possibility of an

after-story for unfinished

green business.
