I see steam rising

into falling light

and the God who is

above all this,

beneath all this,

beyond all that

I can reach

on my own is in all

this, but even more

still, saying, “Be still!

Be still! Receive and

give what is enough

for today to nourish

today and fill the now

with wider views

of the reservoir 

that feeds everything.”

I don’t just pray

you’ll see it too.

It want to celebrate

all this with you inside

today's amber morning.
